Italian regional authorities met the national economy ministry in Rome on Wednesday to discuss the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) pipeline, but no clear progress was made. Speaking after the meeting, the council president of Puglia, Onofrio Introna, said that authorities in the southern Italian region were unswayed in their stance that the line should not be constructed according to its current design.
