In his latest cabinet reshuffle, UK Prime Minister David Cameron on Tuesday appointed Conservative MP Matthew Hancock as Minister of State for business, enterprise and energy – the number two slot in the country's Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC). Hancock will oversee UK oil and gas exploration, shale gas and energy security. Liberal Democrat MP Ed Davey retained his position as Secretary of State for energy heading up DECC.
