When it comes to tackling climate change, it is usually the Europeans that lead the way, pledging emissions cuts, pouring money into renewables and pioneering climate change policy initiatives. In visual_editor014, however, European climate change efforts took a back seat as the US and China – two of the world’s biggest carbon emitters - stepped up to make historic pledges to help limit global warming, and potentially paving the way for a binding global emissions agreement in visual_editor015.
