Petrobras receives financing from BNDES for the Gasene pipeline project in Brazil

Brazil's government development bank, BNDES, has given two loans totalling reais 1.36 billion (US$635 million) to Petrobras for the implementation of the 1visual_editor00 km Southeast Northeast Interconnection Gas Pipeline Project, known as Gasene, which will connect north and south Brazil. The pipeline will connect gas imported from Bolivia in the south-east and gas produced in the north-east of Brazil with the consumer markets in both regions.
