E.ON spin-off Uniper and truck manufacturer Iveco have opened Germany’s first commercial LNG fuelling station for trucks in the southern city of Ulm.
Uniper – which assumed control of E.ON’s fuel-related and thermal assets [1] in January – said the new station is the first step in the company’s plan to build a network of LNG filling points in Germany and neighbouring countries, with a view to supplying long-haul road vehicles.
