BP has taken a final investment decision (FID) to expand its Tangguh LNG plant in Indonesia, adding a third 3.8 mtpa processing train to the plant, the British company said on Friday.
The third train will boost the facility’s total liquefaction capacity to 11.4 mtpa, BP said, adding that the expansion would include two further offshore platforms, 12 new production wells and an expanded LNG loading facility, BP said.
