Italian services group Saipem has been awarded an engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) contract for the accelerated start-up of the 30 Tcf Zohr field in offshore Egypt.
EPCI work will include a 26-inch gas export trunkline, 8-inch and 14-inch service trunklines, six deepwater wells and an umbilical system, Saipem said in a statement on Thursday.
