The Chevron-operated Gorgon LNG plant in Western Australia could soon return from maintenance, while the company’s Angola LNG plant in West Africa been shutdown for planned works, according to reports.
Gorgon LNG shipped its second-ever cargo in early July, but later shut after a minor gas leak was found. Subsequent maintenance was expected to take one week, but the plant remains shut. Now reports suggest it may reopen shortly.
