Netherlands-based GasTerra has seized Dutch assets owned by Italy’s Eni, as part of efforts to reclaim EUR 1.01 billion (USD 1.11 billion) in back payments following GasTerra’s victory in an arbitration dispute between the two companies over pricing, GasTerra said on Thursday.
Eni confirmed that GasTerra made a provisional seizure of Eni International BV, a Dutch subsidiary of Eni, which was valued at EUR 1.01 billion (USD 1.11 billion).
