South Korea’s KOGAS has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to build an estimated USD 1.5 billion LNG import terminal project in the south-east Mexican state of Yucatan.
The proposed terminal would be situated in the port city of Progreso, with associated pipelines moving gas to surrounding cities including tourist hotspot Cancun and Merida, the company said in a statement.
