Demand for low-calorific gas from the Netherlands' Groningen field will fall sharply after 2020, Dutch economy minister Henk Kamp said on Tuesday.
Kamp, who voiced his opinion in a letter to the Dutch parliament – a day before the government is expected to debate lowering the production cap at the Netherland’s largest gas field – predicted that Germany, France and Belgium will switch from low to high-calorific gas in 2020, four years earlier than anticipated.
