German utility E.ON has brought Denmark’s largest biomethane upgrading plant online, the company said this week.
The Sonderjysk plant in southern Denmark will produce 21 MMcm/year (2 MMcf/d) of biomethane for injection into the natural gas grid, enough to cover roughly 1% of the country’s total gas demand.
