The European Union must rework its LNG strategy to more efficiently use LNG infrastructure, make supplies more secure, cut carbon emissions and drive down consumer prices, members of the European parliament (MEPs) argued this week.
"There are three great issues we dealt with in this report,” said Hungarian MEP Andras Gyurk. “First, we need supply diversification, to show solidarity with countries which are almost one hundred per cent dependent on a single supplier.”
