World gas demand rose moderately for a third consecutive year in 2015, despite stronger seasonal demand in Europe and a prolonged downward trend in prices, Paris-based association Cedigaz said in an annual report released this week.
Global consumption grew by just 1.6% last year, well below the ten-year average of 2.2% per year. Demand in the Asia-Oceania region was relatively flat, ending a three-year trend of strong growth, the body said.
