Dresser-Rand, a subsidiary of German technology conglomerate Siemens, has commissioned its first ‘micro-scale’ LNG liquefaction plant for independent gas producer Frontier Natural Resources in a rural area in the northeast US state of Pennsylvania.
The 3,650 tonne/year unit called Ten Man is being used by Frontier Natural Resources to monetise stranded gas assets at the Mainesburg field in the Marcellus shale play.
