Egypt is intensifying efforts to import gas to stave off a short-term energy crunch with a fresh tranche of LNG supply agreements.
State-owned energy company EGAS has signed a trio of deals to buy a total of 45 LNG cargoes from Rosneft, Engie and Oman Trading International (OTI), according to reports this week.
