Shell has pulled the plug on Prince Rupert LNG, a liquefaction project on Canada’s western coast acquired as part of last year’s takeover of British outfit BG Group.
The decision follows a review of the merged assets and is in keeping with objectives to rationalise the combined portfolio, industry observers said.
