Liquefied Natural Gas Limited has abandoned the Fisherman’s Landing LNG project at the Port of Gladstone in Queensland, Australia, following a portfolio asset review.
The company said it was unable to secure a “long-term economic gas supply” required to make the 3.8 mtpa facility a reality – a long-running issue that has prevented construction from restarting for several years.
