The UK government-backed Oil and Gas Authority has released a ‘tight gas strategy’ to help unlock the 3.8 Tcf of remaining accessible gas it estimates is available within the maturing Southern North Sea (SNS).
The strategy aims to provide “a structure and framework” to disseminate best practice and promote technological and collaborative opportunities to unlock the UK’s remaining tight gas reserves.
