Thailand is home to 69 million inhabitants and is Southeast Asia’s second largest economy after Indonesia. No stranger to natural gas, in 2016 it produced 80% of the gas it consumed, which it supplemented with piped flows from Myanmar and a modest 2.39 mt of LNG imports.
