Engie has produced first gas from a secondary well at the Cygnus gas complex, claimed to be the UK’s largest single producing gas field in the North Sea.
The French utility’s local upstream arm, Engie E&P UK, said gas from the unmanned Bravo wellhead platform was piped to the nearby Alpha processing unit, located 150 km off the coast of Lincolnshire in the Southern North Sea.
