Ukraine’s reverse flow gas imports from Europe increased 240% year-on-year in H1, with the country's state-owned oil and gas company Naftogaz ordering Gazprom to cough up a further USD 5 billion in its ongoing arbitration case against the Russian company.
Imports from neighbouring Hungary, Poland and Slovakia stood at 8.2 Bcm over the first six months of the year, according to data from the country’s transmission system operator (TSO) Ukrtransgaz.
