The COP24 talks in December provided a key opportunity for the gas industry to make its case for gas’ role in implementing the Paris Agreement. Present at the discussions was GasNaturally, a gas advocacy group made up of six European industry associations, including the International Association of Oil and Gas Producers (IOGP). Gas Matters caught up with François-Régis Mouton, chairman of the GasNaturally steering committee and the IOGP’s director of EU affairs, at the talks in Katowice to ask how the industry can make a convincing case for gas.
