Iran and Oman have reportedly agreed to change the route of their proposed subsea gas pipeline to bypass territory belonging to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The USD 1.5 billion line project was initially expected to run from the city of Rudan in southern Iran to Sohar port in northern Oman. Reports this week emerged suggesting that the route has changed, but gave no further detail.
