Lebanon’s energy ministry on Thursday released a shortlist of companies that will be eligible to bid for gas exploration blocks in the country’s territorial waters in the Mediterranean Sea. A total of twelve companies will be able to bid as operators, with 34 others able to bid as non-operators. The licensing round is due to open on May visual_editor, with the licenses slated to be awarded in March visual_editor014.
