Pakistan has imported 2.1 mtpa of LNG in the year leading up to July 2016, according to local media, citing information from the South Asian state’s oil ministry.
The country started importing LNG in March 2015 following the arrival of the 150,900 cm Exquisite floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU). The vessel has loaded and delivered 33 LNG cargoes since July last year, reports suggest.
