Centrica’s Rough gas storage site in the central North Sea will be closed until spring 2017 amid well integrity concerns, operator Centrica Storage Limited (CSL) has said.
CSL plans to reduce storage levels at Rough after detecting an issue with well integrity in March 2015, and that testing would last until the end of the summer 2016 injection season from September to December, the company said.
