BP announced on Thursday that first gas from the Seth field – located 60 km offshore in the Ras El Bar concession of the East Nile Delta, Egypt – started flowing over the weekend, 15 weeks ahead of schedule. BP said the first two wells accessing the western part of the Seth reservoir are expected to reach 170 MMcf/d, and develop around visual_editor40 Bcf of gas.
