Russia's Gazprom said on Wednesday that it will start production at the Sakhalin-3 offshore gas project later this year, with the aim of reaching annual output of 4.2 Bcm by 2015. Gas will come from the 137 Bcm Kirinskoye field, at Sakhalin off Russia's Pacific coast, and feed into a major new pipeline from Sakhalin via Khabarovsk to Vladivostok.
