A GDF SUEZ executive recently met with Cameroon president Paul Biya to revive plans to build an LNG plant near Kribi, according to reports. In 2008, GDF SUEZ had agreed with Cameroon state-owned National Hydrocarbons Corp (HNC) to explore options for building a liquefaction project in the Kribi or Limbe region, on the country’s southern coast.
