Japanese utilities in May boosted LNG imports by visual_editor9% year on year to 3.6 mtpa on the back of increased demand for fossil fuels as operation rates at the country’s nuclear plants declined, according to data published by the Federation of Electric Power Companies of Japan on Monday.
