The Swedish government has granted Norwegian gas distribution company Skangass permission to build and operate a new LNG terminal within the Gävle harbour. The permission allows for an LNG storage capacity of 30,000 m3, and the handling of up to 500,000 tonnes of LNG each year. Skangass aims at starting construction work next year.
