Chevron is to sell its upstream gas field assets in Bangladesh to Asian investors in an apparent bid to redeploy capital in more lucrative sectors.
The US major said it has agreed to sell the shares of its wholly-owned subsidiaries operating in the country to Himalaya Energy Co. Ltd., reportedly a vehicle for Chinese and Hong Kong investors.
