Total, Shell and others have agreed to form a consortium to jointly build and operate a floating LNG storage and regasification unit (FSRU) in Ivory Coast, with a view to bringing first LNG cargoes to the the West African country in mid-2018, according to reports.
The Total-led consortium will also include Endeavor Energy and Ivory Coast state-owned energy firms Petroci, Socar, Golar LNG and CE-Energies, according to reports.
